Instagram LIVE Reading Tomorrow!

written by M.E. Evans April 24, 2020

We’re all trapped in quarantine-land and feeling a little, uhm, antsy? Now is the perfect time to get Naked and Lusty. WOO-HA! And that’s why me and fellow author, Jasmine, are going to do a virtual reading of our books, Naked (in Italy) and Wander (lust) tomorrow on Instagram LIVE.

Also, for the sake of solidarity, the eBook version of Naked is available for only $2.99 during the quarantine from everywhere eBooks are sold (Apple Books, Barnes, and Noble, Amazon, Etc). Mother’s day is right around the corner, yall! Give her the book filled with adventure, travel, vaginas, sex, forbidden love, chest hair! It’s the Romeo and Juliet of our time but without the tragic suicide. CLASSIC (but never classy).

If you’re looking for something new to do, or you just need another reason to get boozy, come join us. To watch simply go to my Surviving in Italy Instagram profile or Jasmine’s and tune in. I’m excited because I’ve been trapped at home for five weeks with my adorably rowdy toddler and “naggy granny in a hot young man’s body” husband and can’t wait for a mimosa and some fun chats.

Look! A sexy pic to go with a sexy reading!

Following the reading, we’ll be doing a Q&A, so come with mimosas, wine, or coffee in hand, and virtually hang with us! And, bonus, ask all of your deep, dark, weird, fun, burning questions.

More About Naked (in Italy)

“A page-turning, heart-wrenching, hilarious debut in the tradition of Elizabeth Gilbert, Jenny Lawson, Me Talk Pretty One Day and Under the Tuscan Sun.

In her late twenties, M.E. Evans hops on a plane to Italy on a mission to change her life and that’s exactly what happens. Unfortunately, personal growth isn’t always easy. In Naked, bestselling author, M.E. Evans tackles the dysfunctional family narrative and travel memoir in a way that is refreshingly honest, painfully vulnerable, and wildly entertaining.

If you’ve ever set foot in a foreign country or picked up a travel memoir you probably think you already know what Naked is about: a dreamy personal account of the life-altering beauty that is Italy. And sure, that’s in there, nestled somewhere between the profound grief, bruised ego, debilitating anxiety, chronic depression, vagina paintings, a boyfriend with billowing chest hair, and a mother-in-law who forcibly irons your underwear.

Evans’ dream of a magical life abroad is marred by forbidden love, the death of her younger brother, and a batshit crazy family, yet she skillfully merges tragedy and humor for a wild emotional journey exploring what it means to be human–flaws and all. Evans’ wit, compassion, and vulnerability make reading this book a rarely authentic and relatable experience. You’ll cry, you’ll cackle, and you’ll want Evans to be your best friend.”

Naked is available on Amazon, B&N, Apple Books, Bookdepository, etc.

Don’t forget to leave a review on Goodreads or Amazon if you happen to give it a read (and don’t hate it)! Reviews keep the ole career going so I can write my second book!
